The History of Lincoln Heights What started as a 1946 incorporated village, one of the first self-governed Black communities in the north, grew into a proud, tight knit neighborhood of families who look out for each other. Today it remains the family first spot where kids grow up knowing every neighbor and every season feels like coming home.
